Benchmade Infidel Review 2020
The Infidel is a great example of what makes Benchmade the trusted and respected brand that it is. From the stunning looks of the knife to the performance and the quality of the materials, the list of compliments could go on and on. Certainly you are going to have to pay for all of those attributes – the Infidel regularly retails for a high price – but that price is reflected in all that goes into this truly beautiful knife.
Out-the-Front Design
Most small knives are folders, but this one features an out-the-front design that makes it somewhat unique in the marketplace. Sure, there are other out-the-front options out there, but few if any look this good. The clean appearance of the black handle with the satin blade (a black blade is also available) is sure to turn heads. At the same time, the smooth action which can be used to deploy the knife blade is also something that will draw attention.
Spear Point Shape
Due to the out-the-front opening and closing system, this knife can feature a spear point blade. This is a blade shape that isn’t often seen in the world of pocket knives, which is yet another reason this product stands out from the pack. The spear point isn’t going to be the right tool for every job, but it certainly has its uses – and it looks beautiful as well.

Customer Reviews and Scores
As this is a rather expensive product, there are a limited number of reviews to browse for this item. However, those who do have it state that the quality is as they expected, and they feel like this is a product which any knife collector would be proud to own. While acknowledging the price tag as being significant, they also find that this knife gives them confidence knowing that Benchmade stands behind their products.
One complaint that can be found is the potential ease with which the blade can be rusted if it is not kept as dry as possible. If you are to find yourself in possession of the Benchmade Infidel, it is important that you wipe the blade dry after use to protect it over the long term. For those who are willing and able to spend for a knife, the Benchmade Infidel is an item that will make an impressive addition to a knife collection.
Any out-the-front knife is going to make a statement, as they look dramatic when the blade comes straight out of the handle. However, when the knife is as great looking as this one, that effect is only enhanced even further. Purchasing the Benchmade Infidel is certainly a commitment based on the price tag alone, but it is one that will allow you to take possession of one of the great pieces of equipment in the knife market.
